Chick Peas ?????????
Hi there, I'm new to the forums. Not quite sure exactly where I should be posting this question, but thought i'd put it here as it relates to recipes. ( Please let me know if there is a more appropriate section for it ) I am interested to know if anybody has any yummy recipes for chick peas? I am also wondering if I can use the tinned ones or do I have to cook them fresh? Thanks, Loopy.

Hi Loopy, If you put chick peas into the search function and recipes you should get a few. I know I've posted a couple in my recipe thread. I use tinned ones well drained as long as they are in water or brine and no sugar added - check the labels. Good luck

Do you have the SS cookbook? There's a great recipe in there for falafels. I think (from this poor old foggy memory) they use some other type of beans, but I substitute chickpeas.
