Coffee & Splenda I am joining sureslim this week. My main concern is coffee, I love it. Is it allowed? Also, what about Splenda , is it allowed?
Thanks

Hi Jinx, welcome!!! Technically coffee with milk isn't allowed & you should probably steer away from it for as long as possible. You can have black coffee, but I must admit I'm a flat white-aholic & although I stayed coffee-less for quite some time, I do partake in the occasional one now (with meals of course). It seems to be fine to do that providing I resist the chocolate coated coffee beans my lovely coffee vendor places tenderly on the top of my cup!
Re Splenda, there's a thread in the Lounge section http://sureslimlosers.14.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=501&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc you might like to read.

I've used Splenda for years without ill consequences. It cooks up like sugar and BP has done some wonderful sorbets with it as well. Splenda is meant to be a bit better than other sweeteners, I certainly prefer the taste.
Haven't had coffee in months, am quite used to black tea now...
