Freezing Avacados
If you have to have 50g of Avacado per day like me, you may, like me, also feel quite stressed at certain times of year to get your daily avacado in. I did a little research and found out that you can freeze avacados (if done properly). Which means we can stock up when they are cheap (or at least AVAILABLE!) and never have to worry about missing our 50g again. The downside is they need to be mashed as they break down when they are frozen. I recently bought ten big globe avacados in bulk, placed them all in a bowl and mashed them with a little lime juice. I then got a couple of mini muffin tins, measured it all out and placed them in the freezer. When they were frozen I took them out of the tins, put them all in a zip lock bag and back into the freezer - they looked so cute, like little green soufles! I use them to spread on a wrap with chicken at lunch or stir through a salad at dinner - it's been such a stress reliever that I thought I'd share it with you all!

i grow avocados
And I freeze them often. I just slice them up and free flow them on a tray then when they are frozen pop them into a freezer bag and write the date on, this is important cos they only keep well for about 3 months max. They do go mushy, but works great for a spread, i use when i make my spinach avo pizza,, yummmm.
