Boozehag, if its not on your plan... I wouldn't be eating it. Especially since you've just started, I would stick to the plan 100%.

See, you must have a high sensitivity to Carbs to only be allowed 3 crackers...thus why you shouldn't be having the cereal for optimum weight loss.

Ahhhh ok, thanks for that. I dont tend to listen to whats being said to me and visualise more what I need to do when its written down!
My family are gluten intolerant so its actually not a biggie having less carbs. I dont actually like cereal most of the time but it would be nice to have alternatives to eggs or cheese or fruit for breakfast! Im not complaining as that is actually a lot of choice for someone who usually has the same thing every day as in avocado and tomato on toast until it comes out my ears!!!!! :lol:

For my first year on SS - I ate eggs everyday for the year, except about or 4 times !!!
I find (after doing the diet for nearly 4yrs) that eggs fill me up the most. Much more than the yoghurt and cheese.
If it didn't I wouldn't have eaten them every day for nearly 4yrs !!! :)
You'll find out what works best for you - use your first week to try these things out and what works best, and then over the coming months, you do what works best and the most filling !
I have made a 'quiche' using cut up MB in a ramekin dish, with my eggs, grated zucchini, cubed tomato & onion & red capsicum - it made 2 good sized pots, and I couldn't even get thru them !

IF you have vegetable weights in breakfast section of 80 grams
YOU CAN HAVE: 20g oats and 65mls full milk OR
-----------SS breakfast blend 35 grams with 65mls full cream milk
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If vegetalbe weights for breakfast 95 grams
23g oats and 75mls full cream milk
SS breakfast blend 38 grams with 75 grams of full cream milk
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you have vegetable weights in breakfast of 120 grams
27g oats with 75mls full cream milk
SS breakfast blend 42 grams with 75 mls of full cream milk
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I was only aloud it only 3 times a week
Plus I would add water to my milk ,

Just wanted to add That I am very senisitivity to carbs as well, I am only aloud 3 crackers or one MB aday as well. and I could have the SS blend BUT only 3 times a week or the oats 2 times a week.
I only had the SS blend once aweek,
I would have eggs , then yoghurt, mix, then SS blend BUT I have the yoghurt most mornings.
I lost 18 kilos doing that,

Hey Ladybird, thanks for that. Im allowed to have rolled oats too but havent so far. I dont like porridge so Ive given it a miss so far.
Mountain Bread, now I havent been able to find any....does anyone know where to look. Ive been to several supermarkets and also health food stores, either Im blind as a bat or theyre out of stock or Im looking at the wrong places. Lucky I like the crackers aye!

Hi boozehag I have not been able to find the mountain anywhere near where i live in whakatane. so i just buy it from the clinic each week, its $4.00 per packet, i am only allowed one per day, love it as pizza. was reading above in your posts about the quiche i will have to try that sounds delicious. hope you are having a great day.

I'm allowed 5 cruskits. Can someone please tell me how the bread fits into this and what sort of bread is it? I got my plan before they included it.

I'm the same as you - allowed 5 cruskits, or 5 vita-wheat crackers or 5 ryvitas (once a week). In the bread space, I'm allowed 1 slice of mountain bread, or two slices of Burgen Soy-lin (which is the most filling option). But it does detail all of that on my plan (I'm on my last day of week 1).
