If you put 'soup' in the search function and 'recipes' it should give you quite a few. There are many you can make within allowance. I usually make up 4 times my vege allowance for lunch withthings like onion, celery, leek, brocolli, cauliflower (helps thicken) any veges you like really. Use your tablespoon of oil to saute the onion, garlic, celery then add your chopped up veges and some stock (quantity depending on how thick or thin you want it), simmer till all cooked then blend or mash down. Divide equally between 4 containers, eat one, freeze the rest for later. You can add light cream cheese, chopped up cooked chicken or beans to give you your protein allowance. Easy!! Good luck.

Yep, like jb I just make it up as I go along. I make up a huge post of vege stock (from the QL book) and freeze it into one or two serving portions. Then I just sautee any vege I feel like, add the stock, and blend it or keep them whole depending on how I feel. I also have the odd tin of 'chopchop' chicken on hand to throw in as protein (the one in springwater, not the satay sadly). Have added cream cheese occasionally, but sometimes I have some cheese on toast to have with it and get my protein that way. Oh, and I add lots of herbs and spices depending on my mood. The tubes of blended up herbs and spices that you find in the vege section of the supermarket are great, esp in winter when fresh herbs are hard to come by.

I like the Cock-a-leekie soup out of the SS cookbook. I do chuck it through the blender tho to munch it up a bit. And there is a roasted veg soup recipe in there also that is quite nice. Elle

My favourite discovery on Sure Slim (other than mountain bread pizza) is chicken and bok choy soup. It can be made with three main ingredients; chicken, bok choy and veg stock. I've posted a jazzed up recipe on this site. http://www.recipezaar.com/264604 You will also find my recipe for veg stock there.
