SS cereal ingredients This is the list of ingredients as it appears on the SS packet,
rice bran flakes
seeds (sunflower, pumpkin)
nuts (almond, hazelnut )
organic barley flakes
puffed Kamut brand wheat
rolled triticale
roasted buckwheat
amaranth
puffed millet
spices
the almonds used are flaked almonds and whole hazelnuts and i believe the spice is cinnamon, the amaranth is available at safeway in the health food section a little cheaper than the health food shop. the roasted buckwheat is a tiny little grain as hard as a rock and it hurts my teeth so i left it out ( personal preference only)
I don't usually like cereal but i love this and with some cooked fruit and yoghurt ( yoplait no fat vanilla of course) this is a sensational breakfast that is satisfying till lunchtime, i also partly grind up my days seeds and throw that in the bowl too. Cheers Mez

Thanks Mez
I have done the same as you but have had real trouble tracking down triticale in NZ.
I also have a high fibre cereal recipe from the naturopath which is
30g sunflower seeds
30g pine nuts
30g flaked almonds
30 g sesame seeds
30 g roughly chopped pecan nuts
50g whole or ground linseeds
20g puffed millet
20g shredded coconut
20g puffed rice
20g amaranth
I also add in 30g kamut from the SS cereal recipe.
(Multiples of these to fill the container)
Mix all together and keep in an airtight container and weigh our your allowed portion as necessary.
I gave the recipe to SS and they weren't totally anti (well it is competition!)
Hubby has this too and it certainly keeps him 'moving'
